It is my understanding that this switch panel came on certain trim levels of JDM spec AE86s. I assume for cars with fog lights, headlight sprayers, or other options which would not fit in the space where the rest of the switches go on the dashboard. All USDM spec cars received the coin cubby, which I don't think many people use
